Interaction of eosinophils with endothelial cells is modulated by prostaglandin EP4 receptors
Viktoria Konya, Sonia Philipose, Zoltan Balint, Andrea Olschewski, Gunther Marsche, Eva M. Sturm, Rudolf Schicho, Bernhard A. Peskar, Rufina Schuligo and Akos Heinemann.

It was shown that "PGE2 and EP4 receptors potently regulate eosinophil interaction with pulmonary endothelial cells, as PGE2 and the EP4 agonist ONO AE1-329 significantly reduced adhesion of eosinophils to endothelial cells under physiological flow conditions and blocked eosinophil transendothelial migration."

Cellix's Mirus Nanopump and microfluidic biochips were used in this study.
