This option is an upgrade on option 1 (i.e. includes everything in Option 1) and some of the following items:

Camera upgrade: depending on the researchers' application, they may need to upgrade their existing digital camera. We will help you choose the right one for your application.

Microscope upgrade: many life science researchers already have a good microscope in-house but sometimes the researcher will decide to upgrade this at the same time. Again, we can advise on a good microscope that should last many years and be a work-horse for your laboratory.

Heating / Temperature control: Most customers are doing short-term experiments (each experiment may last only a few minutes) and so these are normally done at room temperature. In this case, most researchers will not require heating / temperature control. However, for those researchers doing longer-term studies; we have a number of options available including microscope cage incubators and custom-designed microenvironmental chambers.

Automation: Depending on the number of assays to be performed daily or the frequent use of such a system; some researchers will require some level of automation. This may be as simple as a motorized microscope stage or could involve a robotic arm for sample handling. We can advise each customer depending on their needs.

Automation & Software integration: Again, depending on the use of the platform in a researchers' laboratory, Cellix engineers can perform software integration of your existing equipment (digital camera, motorized stage etc.) such that it is all easily controlled by one programme.
