2. Vena8 Biochip

The Vena8 Biochips contain 8 parallel enclosed microcapillaries for cell based assays. Each microcapillary may be coated with a different antibody. Cell suspensions may then be injected utilising the Mirus Nanopump range which supports a range of shear stresses for dynamic flow based assays.

Features

  • Suitable for a wide range of cell suspensions
  • Easy to coat microcapillaries with a range of different antibodies.
  • Biochip plastic is optically clear permitting detailed microscopy studies
  • 0.05 to 20 dyne/cm2 shear stresses easily obtained and controlled by the Mirus 1.0 Nanopump.
  • Shear stress may be preset to incrementally increase during an assay.
  • Real-time imaging under flow conditions.
